A planting-forward refresh that brings clarity and comfort to a classic landscape.
This enhancement was guided by a single goal: to improve how the landscape is lived in and experienced every day. The existing framework—bedlines, hardscaping, and spatial organization—remained intact, allowing the project to focus entirely on planting, soil health, and irrigation performance.
All planting beds were cleared and rebuilt from the ground up. Soils were amended, irrigation systems overhauled for efficiency and precision, and a cohesive planting palette was introduced to unify the site. The result is a refreshed landscape that feels intentional, balanced, and easy to inhabit.
Rooted in Beaver Creek tradition but expressed through a clean, modern lens, drifts of ornamental grasses and vibrant perennials now guide the approach to the home and frame outdoor living areas around the patio, pool, and spa. The landscape reads as calm and composed—familiar, yet newly resolved.

After buying our house, we wanted the landscape design to accentuate the house's recent renovation. I was told that if I wanted the best in the Vail Valley, Ceres was the way to go.
