A slopeside landscape designed for retreat, renewal, and family life.
Nestled at the base of Vail, this renovation brings the mountain into close relationship with the home—balancing privacy and intimacy with sweeping views beyond. Inspired by French alpine gardens, the landscape unfolds as a series of structured yet softened garden rooms, offering places for play, respite, and retreat. Stone terraces, layered plantings, and carefully framed sightlines create a sense of shelter without enclosure, allowing an active young family to move fluidly between energy and rest. Designed as a place to return to again and again, the garden offers renewal through season, slope, and stillness.

When we purchased our home in Eagle, Colorado, we wanted to completely reimagine the backyard and create an outdoor environment that would feel both beautiful and natural to the surrounding landscape. Ceres completely transformed our backyard. They designed and installed beautiful native plants and trees, striking rock features, fencing, and seamlessly integrated a stunning spa and magnificent fire pit into the landscape. The finished result feels perfectly suited to the mountain environment while also being incredibly functional and welcoming.
The transformation has significantly enhanced how we use and enjoy our outdoor space. What was once an ordinary yard has become a place where we gather with family and friends, relax, and truly appreciate the beauty of Eagle and the surrounding mountains. Many people who visit have told us that it is one of the most beautiful yards in Eagle.
