Perched within Castle Peak Ranch in Eagle, this landscape unfolds against sweeping views of Red Canyon—feeling utterly removed, yet only moments from the energy of town. The site demanded a careful balance: romantic and welcoming, yet resilient enough to withstand exposure, wildlife, and the scale of the surrounding land.
Existing planting beds were overhauled and the enhanced native landscape refined, allowing the site to better reflect its setting. Meadows and gardens were reconnected to the expansive horse pastures beyond, blurring the boundary between cultivated landscape and open range.
Seasonal gestures—drifts of daffodils and allium woven into surrounding meadows and native planting—introduce softness and rhythm without competing with the ruggedness of place. The result is a landscape that feels anchored and expansive at once: a setting shaped for daily life, long views, and the quiet satisfaction of coming home.
