A phased alpine landscape shaped by trust, time, and play.
This mountainside Beaver Creek property has evolved season by season, with each phase thoughtfully building upon the last. Working in close collaboration with a client who placed full trust in the process, the landscape was allowed to unfold naturally—responding to the site, the seasons, and how the property is truly lived in.
Serpentine pathways and meadow trails weave through aspen groves and open clearings, fully circumnavigating the expansive site and inviting movement, exploration, and pause. An inherited water feature—originally out of scale and poorly integrated—was reworked and softened with stone stairs and terraces to sit comfortably within the broader landscape.
Turf areas were replaced with resilient groundcovers and meadow plantings, reducing water use while increasing ecological richness. Vibrant, alpine-driven gardens reference native wildflowers and bring bursts of seasonal color throughout the site.
The result is a playful, immersive landscape—designed not just to be seen, but to be experienced by all who enter.

The transformation has significantly enhanced how we use and enjoy our outdoor space. What was once an ordinary yard has become a place where we gather with family and friends, relax, and truly appreciate the beauty of Eagle and the surrounding mountains. Many people who visit have told us that it is one of the most beautiful yards in Eagle.
